An Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) is a
report prepared for a real estate holding which
identifies potential or existing environmental
contamination liabilities and satisfies the
requirements of the innocent Landowner Defense
to liability imposed by the Comprehensive
Environmental Response Compensation and
Liability Act (CERCLA).
Our clients for Phase I ESA’s have included
developers, banks, engineering firms, architects
and contractors.
Phase II Services
An "intrusive" investigation which collects
original samples of soil, groundwater or
building materials to analyze for quantitative
values of various contaminants. These are
performed after being recommended during the
Phase I ESA investigation.
Flex Wall Permeability ASTM D5084
Used to determine the
one-dimensional, laminar flow of water within
porous materials such as soil and rock. Widely
used in Landfill and Pond soil analysis. These
tests are typically performed for design of wet
ponds and lagoons, drainage retention systems
and landfills.
